IU TAKES ON NOTRE DAME IN SPRING MEN’S SOCCER GAME
SHINDIGZ NATIONAL SOCCER FESTIVAL VISITS UNIVERSITY OF SAINT FRANCIS
FORT WAYNE, IN – The Shindigz National Soccer Festival will visit the beautiful campus of the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne on Saturday, April 9th as Indiana University plays the University of Notre Dame with a 7:00 p.m. start time. Enjoy the highest level of men’s collegiate soccer under the lights at Bishop John D’Arcy Stadium – plus, half-time activities and more! Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site through Don Hall’s catering.
Buy discount tickets in advance starting March 21st for only $5 for high school age and under and $7 for adults at Fort Wayne-area Connolly’s Do-It-Best Hardware stores and Soccer Plus. Store locations can be found at www.soccerplusfw.com respectively. Tickets will be $7 for high school age and $10 for adults at the gate on the day of the event. Then make plans to come and see these past NCAA National Champions compete in the spring classic game, which has become a tradition here in Fort Wayne. Come out and be a part of that tradition at the University of Saint Francis, Bishop John D’Arcy Stadium, 1598 Lindenwood Avenue, on Saturday, April 9th. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
Not only will there be a great soccer game, but also many other activities available to attendees. There’s something for everyone, including food and a full service bar from Don Hall’s.
The Shindigz National Soccer Festival has evolved into a true festival including youth clinics conducted by the visiting major universities, golf outings, live entertainment, youth involvement, televised games, high school level tournaments, vendors, tailgating, giveaways and even a beer tent. Starting in 2010 a spring event was added, featuring in-state rivals Notre Dame vs. Indiana University. The Shindigz National Soccer Festival is honored to bring top ranked teams to For Wayne to compete. Shindigz National Soccer Festival is nationally recognized as the premier collegiate soccer event.
The Shindigz National Soccer Festival, scheduled for Aug. 18-20, will be played at two venues – Hefner Fields and Bishop D’Arcy Stadium – to ease the strain on newly seeded grass at Hefner.
The Aug. 18 game between Michigan State and Syracuse will be at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium on the Saint Francis campus.
The Aug. 19 games, including IPFW vs. Wright State, Saint Francis vs. Indiana Tech and seven high school matches, will be at Hefner Fields, adjacent to IPFW.
And on Aug. 20, the headlining games between Indiana and UCLA and Ohio State vs. Syracuse, will be at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium, as will fireworks. Hefner Fields will play host to Findlay vs. Indiana Tech, plus high school games.

After much anticipation, the spring festival date has finally been released! On April 11, 2015, the Hoosiers and the Fighting Irish will go head-to-head at an all new location! The Saint Francis football stadium was the first collegiate field to utilize Sporturf in 2004, and will prove an excellent place for these two teams to battle it out!
